TIGERS JAW | ASBURY PARK, NJ

The Wonder Years is bringing a killer lineup on their Sister Cities tour this year. Tigers Jaw is one band among them who graced the House of Independents stage at the tour’s stop in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The House of Independents is a 500 people capacity venue and provided a super intimate space for this pop punk show. The night started with Worriers from New York, then the incredible trio that is Tiny Moving Parts. By the time Tigers Jaw hit the stage the crowd was warmed up and ready to sing along to their old favorites and plenty of new music from last year’s release Spin. The band played a long list of about 12 songs from all of their records with minimal banter just a heavy amount of gratitude to The Wonder Years for bringing them along on tour. The crowd dipped at one point in the set but came back yelling along to “Hum” and “June” as Tigers Jaw closed their set. The Wonder Years again brought the audience back to life from an exhausting night of incredible music and moshing.
