DRYJACKET AT ASBURY PARK BREWERY
DRYJACKET AND FOXING IN NEW JERSEY
Dryjacket opened for Foxing in the Asbury Park Brewery in Asbury Park, NJ. The NJ-based band played songs from their newest release For Prosperity and songs from the conception of their being like “Uncle Jack”. While Dryjacket is not currently on tour with Foxing, Foxing made the stop to play in the small, stageless brewery and gave an intimate performance.
Dryjacket is a 4-membered indie rock band from Marlton, NJ an hour south of Asbury. The guys seemed right at home bantering with jokes that only New Jerseyans would understand. Dryjacket brought their signature look and sound to the venue with their baseball caps, flannels, and Fender guitars. The crowd was nodding their heads in place to the beautiful arpeggios and song breakdowns.
Although Dryjacket gets some heat for not playing in their home state enough they are never too far away, the band’s next show is June 29th in New York with Aaron West & The Roaring Twenties for INSGRT Arts. I’m sure news of the next tour is right around the corner so keep your eyes peeled.
