Rainbow Kitten Surprise in Philadelphia, PA
Rainbow Kitten Surprise brought a dance party to their show at Union Transfer with CAAMP on Tuesday. The North Carolina band worked hard and brought the same level of energy and dance moves as the crowd. The crowd of all ages and high energy was almost as entertaining to watch as the band. The venue was booming with excitement.
Rainbow Kitten Surprise is a band with a variety of music styles that attracts people of all ages. They can do acoustic, funk, rock, and some hints of rap (or just really fast singing). The energy level in every song remains the same, there was not a dull moment at the Philadelphia show.
The 18-song set was a part of their tour promoting the new album, How to: Friend, Love, Freefall. The setlist featured songs from all over the band’s timeline. The show ended with an encore of “Devil Like Me” (a fan favorite from the 2013 album, Seven + Mary) and “Run” (a 2015 song from their self-titled RKS)and their fans were thrilled to hear them.
