The Fillmore in Philadelphia presented a great act for the night of Friday the 13th. Franz Ferdinand visited on their tour promoting their new album. At 9:00 the band jumped on stage and immediately went into the title track of the new album Always Ascending (2018). They then followed up with “Walk Away” (2005) and “Lucid Dreams” (2009).

In their 16th year of music making Franz Ferdinand brought a great amount of energy and party. 16 years is a long time to be touring and creating music but the quintet has not slowed down yet and neither has their fans. The Fillmore was packed with couples who love to dance. The air was giddy and energetic.

Franz Ferdinand played their long set and ended the night with a huge four-track encore and a fan brought up on stage to play the drums.
