Slow Magic Illuminates the Trocadero

Slow Magic is a one-person indie-electronica band who wears a colorful, boxed zebra mask and a pair of drumsticks. Their show at the Trocadero started with a warm and friendly entrance and went right into the first song of the evening. The crowd roared when Slow Magic appeared on stage and the room’s anticipation turned into blissful excitement. A few show-goers were even masked in their own Zebra box head piece. The use of crazy colored lighting and musically timed strobes did a great job complimenting the music and specific drum beats. Each song was complicated yet catchy, and known an recognizable by the audience. The small Trocadero made some big noise as cheering and clapping ended each song for the band and introduced the next. The band is currently doing a U.S. and Canada tour to try and reach the ears of North America. Slow Magic brings their own dance party to every venue, regardless of the size and capacity.
