Indigo De Souza at Union Transfer

Indigo De Souza performed at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA on May 23, 2023.

A short Month after dropping her newest album, All of This Will End, Indigo De Souza played an outstanding show. Opening the show with You Can be Mean, off her newest album, she set the tone for an electric set. Throughout the night she she played songs off all three of her albums, delighting the crowd with hits such as, Darker Than Death, Good Heart, and 17. The crowd responded enthusiastically to her infectious energy and soon the room was bouncing alongside De Souza as she played her set.

Nothing seemed to excite the fan’s as much as the singer’s abridged version of How I Get Myself Killed of of De Souza’s debut album I Love My Mom. Though she only played about a minute of the song, the energy the crowd brought to the song made the moment seem endless. Off her newer album, she played Smog to the delight of everyone in the room. Unbelievably the song was even more incredible live. De Souza seemed to have an unspoken way of communicating with her band because they spent the entire show in seemingly perfect synch. Watching her performance it’s clear to see why Union Transfer was packed full of enthusastic fans screaming along to every song.
